Our entire
Inn is available to accommodate your needs for a Marin wedding and reception site,
private party, retreat or celebration.
The
Mountain Home is located on the eastern slopes of the mountain which is also known
as the "Sleeping Princess". Resting on the boundaries of Muir Woods,
the Inn is surrounded with natural beauty and is just 6 miles from the seashore.
A twenty minute drive by car will put you on the Golden Gate Bridge to San Francisco
with all of its wonders.
The Inn offers
10 quiet, cozy guest-rooms and a full service restaurant, beer and wine bar. Additionally,
there are three dining areas, including two inside plus an outside upper deck.

I want to say thank you
one more time. It was a very special weekend for me in many
ways. The staff couldn't have been nicer, led by Marisa. She
really is quite special and couldn't do enough to assist me.
I
had been planning my special party for months and it more than
surpassed my expectations. All my guests were quite amazed by
your property, the quality of the food and the specialness of
the whole celebration. It is the nicest thing I've ever done
and I really appreciate that it worked out so well.

Our Mountain View Room is adjacent to our
cozy bar area and outdoor seating area. There is a fireplace along with a panoramic
vista of the surrounding Mt. Tam mountains.

2. Bay
View Room
Our Bay View Room is more intimate, featuring
a fireplace with a mirrored wall so that in any area of the room one can glance
at the beautiful outside natural surroundings. Attached to the dining area is
a lovely private deck with French doors.

of entire inn.

General
Information
Our dining areas are available for Marin
weddings, cocktail reception sites, private parties, and meetings. Cocktail service
includes beer and wine but does not offer hard liquor.
Rooms
are subject to a 10% sales tax. Staff is $25.00 per hour per person for bartender,
server, etc., depending on the size of your event.
Our
chef is willing to create special menus and we encourage you to plan according
to your own palate. Please click here to see a sample
of menu items served at the inn.
A
50% deposit is due at the time of booking the event to hold the space. This is
a non-refundable deposit. The balance of the room rental fee is due one week prior
to the event date. The remaining balance is due in full on the date of the event.
