This is the room to book if you are on a honeymoon. The king-sized canopy bed reaches up toward the vaulted ceiling with a skylight for added drama. There is a Jacuzzi bath, a wood burning fireplace, cd-clock radio, and a view of the bay draped through evergreens. The soft woodland colors and peaceful ambience make this room one that you may never want to leave.

Room 5, Mountain View . . . . . . . . . .  $345
The Mountain View room has French doors leading onto a deck with views of both Mt. Tamalpais and the bay. It also has a king bed, a wood-burning fireplace with sitting area, cd-clock radio, and a Jacuzzi bathtub.

Room 6, Redwoods . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $315
Redwood lovers appreciate the spacious Redwoods room with its sitting area windows framed by the redwoods outside. It also has a king bed, a Jacuzzi bath, cd-clock radio, and a fully stocked oak-burning fireplace ideal for romantic cool foggy evenings.

Room 7, Deluxe Fireplace Room  . . . $295
This Deluxe Fireplace room has a queen bed and a sitting area with sofabed, cd-clock radio, and a small deck with views. The room is shaded by evergreens giving it a cozy feeling. The fabric designs are evocative of what our original Mt. Tam dwellers--the Miwok Indians--might have woven.

Room 10, Bay Window  . . . . . . . . . . $295
The sunny bay window "blue" room has a quarter-tester canopy queen bed. You'll enjoy a Jacuzzi bath, cd-clock radio, and a large terrace deck with views of both Mt. Tamalpais and the bay.

Room 8, Deluxe Guest Room . . . . . . $245
This room underwent an expansion and renovation several years ago. It now has a large bay window with bay views, a sitting area with a sofa bed, cd-clock radio, a queen bed.

Room 9, Deluxe Guest Room . . . . . . $245
Similar in look to Room 8, it also underwent an expansion and renovation several years ago. It now has a sofabed and sitting area, a small deck with bay views, cd-clock radio, arts and crafts-style furnishings, and a queen bed.

The above cozy, very small room has a queen bed and a deck. Room 3 is light and airy with pale pink and green striped wallpaper and textured chenille bedcoverings.

Another very small, cozy room, this sunny room comes with a queen bed and a deck.

CANCELLATION POLICY IS FIVE DAYS IN ADVANCE of the date of check-in, in such case any deposit will be refunded. Any cancellation after the five days is subject to charges in the amount of the entire booked reservation (including tax), unless room can be re-booked. Special conditions apply to any bookings in excess of two rooms. Deposit for first night stay is applied at time of booking.

11% ROOM TAXES ARE APPLICABLE.

If booking a SATURDAY NIGHT STAY, May - October, a two night minimum is required. As an alternative, you may book either Friday or Sunday for one night.

CHECK-IN IS 3PM-9PM. If arriving after 9pm, please let us know the approximate time of arrival.

CHECK-OUT 11AM.

RATES BASED ON DOUBLE OCCUPANCY, $29 PER EXTRA PERSON.

THE MOUNTAIN HOME IS A SMOKE-FREE ENVIRONMENT.

HIGH SPEED WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS is available throughout the inn and most guest rooms. This service is free to our guests that already have a wireless card for their laptop. Anyone that has a laptop, but not a wireless card, can rent one from the front desk for $10 a day.

Rooms 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 have in-room cd-clock radios.
